The Shinto stool is an Asian influenced design made from solid hardwood. You'll find no screws or nails in this piece. It's built to last for generations.

The Shinto stool features careful craftsmanship of thru tenons and wedged keys commonly accented in ebony. The sculpted seat makes this piece a perfect balance of functional furniture and fine art. If you prefer, add a back to the stool, supported by a steel brace in black.

We also make this design in a shorter height which we call our Shinto bench. It is an ideal height to place in front of your bed or in any living room or entryway.
