Inspired by the Scottish Arts and Crafts movement, Hardwood Artisan's Glasgow Grand Mesa Dresser is reminiscent of the works of "The Four" -- Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928), James Herbert MacNair (1868-1955), and sisters Margaret Macdonald (1864-1933) and Frances Macdonald ((1873-1921).  The artists met as young students at the Glasgow School For The Arts in the late 1800's and formed a creative alliance, making an important contribution to the development and recognition of the distinctive "Glasgow Style".  We are honored to present our representation of this timeless style.

The handles that are offered with our Glasgow case goods are hand-made in England and brought to the United States by fourth generation handle makers based in Connecticut.
