This wall bed features a solid panel which forms the platform for the mattress when lowered. The attractive Arts and Crafts-style cabinet forms the foot of the bed and delightfully adds to the ambiance of a room when closed. If doors opening and swinging out to the side are a problem, as they do on the Dane Bed or the Murphy Bed, this is a great solution.

The Panel Bed is the heaviest of our wall beds to raise and lower. If the person using this bed is elderly or small, you probably want to verify that they will be able to comfortably operate the bed. As with all of our wall beds, this cabinet comes with built-in reading lights. This cabinet does not require a floor mounting, but it does attach to the wall.
