| Huntboards were introduced in the southern part of the United States in the latter part of the 18th century and early part of the 19th century. In its simplest form, the design was intended to enable hunters to stand and serve themselves after returning from a hunt. For this reason, huntboards are taller than sideboards, although they serve much the same function in a modern dining room. Wooden peg pulls included. Other cabinet hardware available. Lower shelf available for an additional charge. Back splash and plate groove available for an additional charge.
