    Arts and Crafts Table

This table is shown with custom banquettes. It has been a popular table to customers who are tight on space. The trestle base was specifically designed to be easy to navigate around. The proportions here use a large stock for the base and top, yet the design maintains a delicate nature. Banquette benches in these photos are available, but they are custom. 2. Butterfly Table

    Butterfly Table

The term “butterfly table” refers to a table where a hinged leaf is stored inside the table. The leaf is on a pivot and when the table is opened, the leaf can be rotated into place. Very Cool. This table has our Linnaea base with a 45½” wide by 68” long top in the closed position.

The butterfly leaf is 22½” wide so the table becomes 68” square when open. The ¾” thick solid top has the typical boat shape and penciled edge of our Linnaea line. In the closed position, the is a nice 6-person table. Open it is a generous 8-person table. (You could fit 10 tightly.) With a square table all of the people can easily see all the others, which nicely facilitates conversation.

  5. Highland Table

    Highland Table

A family-sized Arts and Crafts inspired table, the Highland is strong and substantial. The style is reminiscent of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who worked in Scotland around the turn of the last century.

Like Gustav Stickley and the other proponents of the Arts and Crafts Movement, Mackintosh designs valued the ideas of restraint and economy, both of which are present in this sturdy table. With its solid wood top, this table might be influenced by the last century, but will endure well into the next.

    • The extension table includes an 18" self-storing leaf on the small and large tables, with an optional second leaf that is non-storing. On the extra large table, three 16" wide leaves are included.
    • The fixed dimension version of the table includes the impressive 1 1/2" thick, solid plank top.
    • Optional contrasting wood tops available.
